<p><b>GetNews</b> is a program for collecting the news articles from your
favorite web sites. GetNews can automatically check the channels you enable
for updates and save the retrieved information in your own news archive.
Fast and user-friendly interface of GetNews <b>saves a lot of your time</b>.</p>
<p>With GetNews you can get articles from news portals and internet magazines,
messages from forums, reviews of new software releases from catalogs,
and other information from various resources on the Net.</p>

<li>We created a lot of news channels one for each site for different topics.
You can download them here.</li>
<li>RARE: GetNews is very flexible and allows you to create your own channels
for almost all the news portals on the Internet.</li>
<li>GetNews has the ability to load RSS feeds.</li>
<li>UNIQUE: GetNews can work with two-level news sources. It means that you
can get not only the headers and such, but also the full text of the article.</li>
<li>For each channel you can adjust the individual schedule.</li>
<li>You can use GetNews in two ways:<br>
- if you have a permanent connection to the Internet, the program will
refresh the specified channels on a schedule set by you;<br>
- you can make GetNews refresh channels on demand to read articles off-line.</li>
<li>Proxy servers are supported.</li>
<li>Channels could be assigned to different categories.</li>
<li>RARE: Downloaded news are stored in the local database, which allows to store
the news for any period of time and search for the articles in the future.</li>
<li>The interface is easy to use, comfortable and customizable.</li>
<li>RARE: You can search the articles database by date, source, keywords etc.</li>
